| I will always remember June 2, 1990. It was the day I learned a lot about Montana weather and necessity shopping at K Mart. This Virginia boy had just left the world of short sleeve shirts only to arrive in Montana and discover that it really does snow there in June. I expected cooler temperatures, but nothing like I found. After stocking up on some warmer clothing we headed for Marias Pass. This eastbound unit grain train was just starting down the grade, led by Oakway SD60 No. 9064. |
