| D&M RS-2 977 was rebuilt by the D&M in 1978 from LIRR 1520; DH 4020. Again like D&M RS-2 469 when the rebuilding was finished the unit looked like a RS-3, with a large fuel tank under the frame and the battery boxes moved to the walk ways. From my slide collection by ROBERT WEBER. |
