Remarks & Notes
British Rail Engineering Ltd. (BREL) built Class 507 EMU no. 507006 of 1979 pauses at Birkenhead Central with a Chester service. Birkenhead Central is the former headquarters of the Mersey Railway, and their depot (closed in 1997) can be seen derelict on the right. A temporary bridge is in place while the original structure is refurbished. For more info on the Mersey Railway please visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mersey_Railway
