In a wet, spring snowstorm, a Union Pacific coal empty curves past the east switch at Cliff on UP’s Moffat Tunnel Subdivision. Southern Pacific AC4400CW No. 252 leads the train through the snowfall, having already passed through 27 tunnels since leaving Denver’s North Yard. Only one more to go before the big one; the 6.21-mile Moffat Tunnel!
