25 Miles to Ash Hill - Out of Amboy - AT&SF 3751 with the Grand Canyon Excursion Train in tow starts the 25 mile and 1800 vertical foot climb out of Amboy California to Ash Hill where it will crest the summit and drop into Ludlow. Here, the train is on it's way home after a week on the rails to the Grand Canyon in Arizona.
