David and 525 - David, the volunteer motorman for our night photography seminar put on by Steve Crise at the Orange Empire Rail Museum pulls down the rope connected to the trolley pole on Los Angeles Railway Car #525 and prepares to set it for a reverse movement back up the street, while L.A. Railway Car #3100 waits parked just beyond the switch to the shop area.
A special thanks to Steve Crise for his time, expertise and the use of his equipment, without which this image would have looked very different.
Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
