So that's what a semi-permanently attached car end looks like when detached! This photo reminds me of a boy that couldn't have been more than 10 years old at National Train Day who was intently curious about what the couplers on an Acela Express look like because he knew they were different. This is the Acela geometry car that goes around mostly unnoticed as it blends in with the train so well.
