A QJ adorned and used for Chairman Mao's funeral train simmers at Harbin. At the time of this photo Mao had been dead for years, his polices discredited and the special loco relegated to pool freight service in Manchuria. Nonetheless, the brass and stainless steel adornments remain well polished.
