Remarks & Notes

Old Steel. Here is a trio of 1907 built ore cars. They made great cars in ballast service due to the manual doors on both ends. Loaned and later donated to the Lake Superior & Mississippi tourist railroad in the early 1980s the cars sit unused today with mother nature doing her best to reclaim the area around them. And if that's not cool enough, there is a Milwaukee Road boxcar sitting in on the left in the mud as well.
