| Northbound aluminum ingots emerge from the Frankfort Tunnel and slowly make their way down Broadway Street in the state capitol's downtown commercial district. The brick building visible on the hill above the tunnel is the old state arsenal, now the Kentucky Military History Museum. The former SP tunnel motor still negotiates several tunnels on the normal route of the unit aluminum ingot trains, but none that require what it was designed to do for its original owner. |
