Railroad Development Corp. chairman Henry Posner III watches the track ahead as engineer Felipe Mario rolls his westbound freight towards Nampula late on a summer afternoon in Northern Mozambique. RDC led a consortium which won a concession to operate the line from the deepwater port at Nacala to a connection with the Central African Railways (also operated by RDC) on the Malawi/Mozambique border. Both concessions were sold to Mozambican investors in 2008.
