| A frieght train is passing near Himmelstadt on the Gemünden-Würzburgline.
Gemünden station is an important railway junction in Germany. The North-South railway from Fulda to Würzburg forms a junction here with the east-west line from Aschaffenburg to Würzburg.
In the picture, you can see one of the Hödlmayer's locomotives with a car transporter train as it is rolling along the river Main which flows through the German states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg (forming the border with Bavaria for some distance) and Hesse. |
