Comparing rear ends... on P32s in Phase III vs Phase IV that is. These unique locomotives look similar to P42s until you take a closer look. They have no rear door in order to fit the extra equipment for dual mode operation, but they were built with a hostler's window and a control stand in the rear for reverse moves around a yard. This feature was also found on the P40s originally, but later removed.
