As an eastbound freight drops downgrade in the background, a westbound BNSF grain train claws up Mullan Pass at Austin, Montana, on September, 24, 2006. Both trains just met at Austin siding, where the freight is departing. Passing an old abandoned homestead, the heavy grain train is led by three GE Dash 9s with an added Montana Rail Link SD45, and also has a set of SD70ACe helpers cut into the middle of the train.
