When the report came that a trio trio of Norfolk Southern's heritage fleet was leading a manifest out of Enola Yard for points south, swift action was taken to find the best suitable location where all three units could be seen with relative ease. Given my location at the time, (my uncle's house in Maryland), the Potomac River bridge in Shepherdstown, WV seemed to be the best likely spot. A short drive there turned into a roughly three and half hour wait, but chatting with others who showed up and waited for the train proved to make the time pass by quickly!
