Remarks & Notes
Sometimes the locomotive isn't the most interesting thing on the train. The Lake Shore Limited rolls along the former "Water Level Route" with the NYC Hickory Creek observation car at the tail end. Built by Pullman-Standard in 1948 for the NYC, this car would serve on the famed 20th Century Limited until it's end in 1967. The 20th Century Limited ran between New York City and Chicago, Illinois on the "Water Level Route."
