| Westfield to Wellington manifest train passes the mural near Puhinui in the suburbs of South Auckland. This intricate mural depicts 4-6-4T loco at Papatoetoe station. Fine detail includes manufacturer's plate on loco and load information on wagon (obscured in this photo.) Ww 644 is operational at Glenbrook Vintage Railway and the station depot was relocated and restored (see my RP image 458092.) 9325 was built by Dalian CNR (China) and is 3600Hp. It is bright and clean having entered service only a few months ago. |
