| DL locomotives 9417 and 9279 head train milk train to Fonterra Whareroa through Feilding. Built by Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock CNR Group in China, the DL locomotives are gradually displacing the GM and GE locomotives around the North Island. This train was usually hauled by two DX class GE U26C. With two DL locos there is over 7000Hp for the steep (1 in 35) and winding line ahead between Wanganui and Waverley. |
