Remarks & Notes
Burrowed down along the Fords Branch of the Big Sandy Valley, the eastbound absolute signal at Fords Branch stands guard, silhouetted against a dreary evening sky. Protecting movements into CSX's Shelby yard to the east, many interlockings along CSX's Big Sandy Subdivision are still protected by C&O cantilever style signals.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
