While not "rare", the odds of getting two consecutively numbered tunnel motors alone on a train are pretty low. This train is an ode to the Missabe, as two tunnel motors and 116 cars were the norm on the Iron Range Sub. when the 400's came to the DM&IR in the mid 90's. Its also hard to find a carbody that compliments itself better than back to back tunnel motors. |
