Ja 1275 was built in 1951 by North British, Glasgow and is seen here hauling a GVR Mainline Steam excursion train from Glenbrook to Hamilton alongside Waikato River. The next day this train ran from Hamilton over the electrified section of the NIMT to Taumaranui.
