| An eastbound stack train is snaking its way down the hill from Flagstaff to Winona (Darling). Early March snow covers the higher elevations of the San Francisco Peaks and contrasts with the arid desert territory that the train will cross before reaching its next crew change point, Winslow, still 44 miles ahead. |
