Remarks & Notes
First revenue run. After months of testing, Amtrak ACS-64 600, the class unit of 70 to be built by Siemens, entered revenue service on a beautiful Friday afternoon, leading train 171 from Boston to Washington, DC, seen here flying past the former PRR Nassau Tower just north of the Princeton Junction station.

This is as clean as they're gonna get, whether straight from the factory or a fresh rebuild.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
