| January 19th, 2014. Union Pacific 3105 with box car and caboose in tow steps cautiously on another section of panel track on her way to her new home at the Railroad and Locomotive Historical Society's compound at the Pomona Fairgrounds in Pomona Calif. Sr. Manager of Heritage Operations Ed Dickens is keeping a watchful eye on the track as the locomotive inches its way downgrade toward the museums display area. The many series of moves of the diesel were a lot easier than the movement of Big Boy 4014 for the UP crew since the diesel was operating under its own power and did not have to be towed. |
