Remarks & Notes |
An NJT transit train pushes south across the Raritan River Drawbridge and past the obsolete coal-powered E. H. Werner Power Station built in 1929. This building has an Art Deco style and was designed by the same architects who designed the Empire State Building. South Amboy is moving ahead with its Northern Waterfront Development Plan and has given JCP&L the go ahead to demolish this building, which is reported to happen sometime in the near future |
