Remarks & Notes
Dixieland Delight One of the many neat railroad treats one can find in the Music City is the last surviving NC&StL steam jack built by Alco in 1942. This massive class J3 4-8-4 beauty looks great at night as it continues to sit on display in Nashville’s Centennial Park after having been donated to the city in 1953 after 11 years of making a living on the NC&StL. Special thanks to John Higginson for his help lighting this.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
