Remarks & Notes
Looking like a scene from the 1950-60s era in 2014, Bennett Levin's Juniata Terminal Pennsylvania Railroad PRR E8s 5809 and 5711 lead NS train 045 under the Southern Railway signal bridge at Orange. The train is traveling to the Streamliners at Spencer event at the North Carolina Transportation Museum May 29 - June 1. PRR 5809A was originally built by EMD in January 1951 and survived ownership of Penn Central, Amtrak, Conrail and Norfolk Southern before being restored to her original condition with upgrades.
