| The deep labored roar from a brace of three modern Union Pacific motors echoes through the tall pines that line Donner's eastern slope at Eder as SD70ACe 8530 nears the Summit of the Donner grade with the long decent down to Roseville waiting on the other side. Pulling against the drawbar is Union Pacific's North Platte, NE to Roseville, CA manifest. |
