| The recent long spell of hot weather in the UK has caused alterations to the busy summer season of steam railtours. In order to reduce the risk of lineside fires occurring, diesel locomotives have either substituted or run with steam locomotives in affected areas producing some interesting combinations. BR Standard class 7 no.70013 'Oliver Cromwell' is seen double heading with West Coast Railway Company class 47 no.47237 through Prune Hill in Egham with the Cathedrals Express from London to Bath and Bristol on the 24th July 2014. |
