"CNJ, Reading and New Daniels"
New signals are up at "New Daniels" between Shenandoah Junction and Charles Town, WV on Norfolk Southern's H Line as part of a siding extension project that is almost complete. Rolling under the new southbound cantilever is empty hopper train NS 747 lead by the Central of New Jersey and Reading NS heritage units on August 13th 2014. The duo have been coupled together on coal loads and empties between Shire Oaks, PA and Belews Creek, NC for the past month. The signals are replacing the Norfolk and Western CPLs that stand roughly a quarter mile to the north.
