Spokane, Portland & Seattle No. 700 smokes it up during a photo runby on Day 3 of a four-day round trip from Portland, Ore., to Spokane, Wash., and return. While the trip started out with no diesel helper, problems on Providence Hill on the first day encouraged BNSF to add power. Alas, a derailment in the Pasco yard on the morning of the fourth day would force riders to return to Portland without the 700.
