| On August 24, Vermont Rail System operated an Employee Appreciation Special train from Rutland to Chester Depot, Vermont, where the company's picnic was held. The special is departing Rutland and passing Howe Center - formerly the Howe Scale Co. - with VTR GP40-2 307 doing the honors. |
