A 'Tangara' suburban EMU has just emerged from a 1003 metre long single-track tunnel, and is now seen passing through the former Coalcliff Coke Works, which closed last year after 99 years of operation. On this day a large number of suburban services that would normally terminate at Waterfall had been extended down the South Coast line for extra capacity due to a major cycling event.
