Remarks & Notes
It's just another busy day on the Lehigh Line. NS 212 has stopped briefly at CP Newark on track 2, as NJT 5123 hustles past on track 1, running several minutes late. 5123 is one of the five midday Raritan Line trains that operates directly to/from New York Penn Station using "dual mode" power. Limited capacity in Amtrak's North River Tunnels prevents this service from operating during rush hour when it is needed the most.
