We see Amtrak NE Regional train P095 head south, with the Dahlgren Interlocking in his mirrors, putting him that much closer to his final destination, Newport News, VA. He is surprisingly running on time, but in just a few short weeks, he will be fighting for the last rays of sunlight; but as for now, that is no problem with another half hour of sunlight on this cold fall evening.
With Northeast Regional trains, Auto Train and long distance service to Florida, New Orleans and Chicago, a lot of train riding and train watching can be had.
