| Milwaukee Road 261 has just arrived at St. Paul Union Depot, becoming the first steam locomotive into the station since its reopening earlier this year. The last steam locomotive that operated into SPUD was CB&Q 5632 - and that was over sixty years ago! No. 261, brightly lit with Christmas lights, will be pulling North Pole Express trains over the next two weekends. Thanks to everyone who helped pull off this impromptu night photo session (you know who you are!). |
