A pair of wrecked CSXT units and one CEFX AC4400CW were on KRL flat cars with their trucks tagging along on adjacent flat cars at KCS Knoche Yard, en route to Mid-America Car for work.
These are the result of a head on collision at Keithville, Louisiana on 12-30-13 at Keithville, LA on the UP Lufkin Sub., also known as the "Rabbit Line" southwest of Shreveport. A siding switch was left open, causing a UP manifest headed by CSXT 5348, CSXT 72, and CEFX 1026 to strike a parked BNSF empty coal train powered by BNSF 9735, and TFM 1623.
