The Amtrak Exhibit Train arrived at KC Union Station a few hours earlier on the 100th Anniversary of the terminal's opening date, October 30, 1914. The Amtrak Exhibit Train, the NS Exhibit Car, and other pieces of equipment will be on display at KCUS this weekend in celebration of the station's centennial. They arrived earlier that night on Amtrak Train #3, the Southwest Chief.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
