| Retired N&W Brakeman/Conductor Chuck Taylor looks on as the very last NS T51 runs on the famed N&W Peavine through Williamsburg, Ohio. Taylor made thousands trips on the Peavine during his tenure and like many were sad to see it go. Throughout the day Taylor told dozens of stories about the lines' glory days. Taylor talked about how he and the rest of the crew would always try to turn in good runs to prove the line was as viable as ever. Loss of customers on the line combined with the grades and curves finally saw NS call it quits. The rail is still in place but chances of seeing it as a through route again are slim to none. It was quite a day, but Taylor left us with this...
