| CP 234 came into Guelph Junction with 2 hot axles right at the tail end of the train. After waiting for CP 246 to clear and go down the Hamilton Subdivision, 234 pulled up and left the conductor behind to fix the problem which ended up being brakes that froze up and didn't release. When I was talking to the hogger at Twiss Rd. he asked if I wouldn't mind going down to Millburough Line crossing to get the conductor and bring him to the head end of the engine. I said sure, and after bringing him up to the front I went down to Main St. in Campbellville to get them rounding the curve. Seeing a big UP 9043MAC leading in Canada was a great sight. |
