| Lead by ACS-64 #608, Northeast Regional #137 enters Old Saybrook somewhat slower than normal; melting snow combined with a recent freezing rain storm has capped off the snowpack with a thick layer of ice that is at rail level. Amtrak has two pieces of MoW equipment parked off-frame to the left on Saybrook Junction's wye. With two storms forecasted in the next 7 days, they are undoubtedly going to see some more use. |
