This morning, I stumbled upon this eastbound BNSF manifest (M HUTKCK1 27A) with about as colorful a consist as you'll find these days.
BNSF 7130 east passes the signal between Topeka and Tecumseh, KS as it approaches Goodell Road.
After the BNSF trio, we found the CREX 1329, FXE 4051, CN 5689, CN 2122 (ex-CNW 8575), and the MVPX GP7u 1751. The CN 2122 was rather famously known as one of the final three Chicago and Northwestern painted diesels, built as CNW 8575, before being patched with a new number in 2006. It was still in CNW paint when the CN acquired it in 2010.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
