SP’s German K-M hydraulic 9002 basks in the sun at Sacramento, Calif. but don’t be deceived in thinking the K-M’s had 4-wheel trucks. A low tie-rod or truck component creates a shadow that hides the center wheels in this sunny photo on March 13, 1964. The 9002 lasted only six years.
