With 12 loaded freight cars set out by Norfolk Southern the day prior, Strasburg had little choice as to which engine to use to pull the load back to the yard. Neither having quite the power to pull the load solo, both the lines SW8 and it's 2-6-0 "Mogul" were required to retrieve the load. Captured here, the line's ex-NYC switcher assists CN #89 in a positioning move prior to running around to the back of the train to help push. The run around, of course was just for "fun" as there is no fun in having a diesel lead!
