Remarks & Notes

Shortly after sunrise a Historic Transport Preservation (Steam Specials) charter on the C&TS rounds the big curve at Lava, on its way to plow snow farther up the line. In the distance the San Luis Valley is largely shrouded by low fog. And beyond are the Sangre de Cristo mountains. My thanks to those who liked the image enough to make it a People's Choice.
