Remarks & Notes

African Rail & Traction Services (AR & TS) have these two locomotives, AB 1501 and AB 1502 (AB Class Clyde/EMD G22C), back in Durban unliveried, prepped and waiting for a ship to dock and take them on to an unconfirmed destination, but possibly Brazzaville via Pointe-Noire in the Republic of the Congo. These two locomotives were part of a total of 23 locomotives of various Class / Types (all diesel), that arrived in Durban, South Africa, from Fremantle in Western Australia aboard the “Fairlift” on the 26th January 2015.
