After completing the final run-by of the Fired Up Photo Charter, 611 backs her matching train, filled with the paying photographers, back to the Spencer Shops. A few of us who decided to walk back to the parking lot were given one of the few non-staged moments of the day, as 611 slowly passed Southern FP7-A #6133. Both engines were built within a month of each other - 6133 in April of 1950, and 611 a month later. Sixty-five years later, both are still doing what they were built to do....only with a slightly different purpose.
