Remarks & Notes
While not quite as dramatic as the photo might indicate, an empty BNSF coal train waits for the passing of the morning California Zephyr Amtrak train, which is crossing the Denver Diamond and heading to the Moffat Tunnel. Once clear, the coal train will also cross the diamond and head into the Denver Yard. This vantage point is no longer possible these days, as the new RTD light rail line now obscures this view.

A far cry from the common wedgie ... and particularly well executed.

Whether applied to locomotives or cars, stainless steel provides a distinctive finish.
