Remarks & Notes

With Kodachrome blue skies towering above, the 73rd annual Santa Train comes to a stop in Dante, VA on the former Clinchfield mainline. This was my first experience of the north end of the Clinchfield, and besides wishing I'd come to see the area before it was all gone, I'm glad it was about the most beautiful day I've ever seen.
