The Iowa Interstate Railroad is a mere 4 months old when this freight with a quartet of ex-IC(G) Paducah rebuilt EMD's thunders west out of Wilton, IA. The IAIS has risen from the ashes of the Rock Island and still operates today with a fleet of modern ES44AC's as their primary road power. IAIS 7969 was later renumbered 469 and eventually returned to the leaser in 1994.
